    The woman who was wounded on May 24 in the shelling of the bus station ‘Trudovskiye’ in Donetsk on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has perished, Donetsk City Petrovsky District Administration Head Maksim Zhukovsky stated this on Friday (May 26). 


    “Yesterday, the woman who had come under fire on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the bus station ‘Trudovskiye’ on May 24 perished in the Neurosurgery Department of the hospital named after Kalinina,” said Zhukovsky. 



    He clarified that the woman had been 64 years old.

    Ukraine has put forward the terms, the observance of which it insists on as a preconditions for fulfilling the political provisions of the 2014 and 2015 Minsk accords on settling the armed civil conflict in eastern Ukraine, Daria Olifer, the press secretary of Ukraine's plenipotentiary envoy to the Minsk talks said on Twitter.


    "The Ukrainian side made public its proposals on fulfilling the Minsk accords in the framework of the political subgroup," she twittered.

    Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signaled Wednesday that Russia has managed to achieve strategic parity with NATO, despite the fact that it spends on defense far less than the United States. Delivering a speech at a government session in the upper house of the Russian parliament, Shoigu pointed out that Russia spends 11 times less than the United States on defense and one-third of China's defense spending.


    "Our defense spending is 11 times less than in the United States, and one-third in comparison with China," Shoigu said, estimating the upkeep of one US soldier at $510,000 on average, $170,000 in China and $54,000 in Russia.

    Over the past day, the enemy committed three violations of the ceasefire.


    Our units' positions near the localities of Frunze, Logvinovo and Kalinovo were shelled. When attacking, the AFU applied 82mm mortars, anti-aircraft mounts ZU-23-2, recoilless antitank guns, and small arms. In total, 47 projectiles and shells were launched onto the Republic's territory.

    According to him, it is wrong to completely prohibit TV broadcasting in Russian, as this will prevent Kiev from "winning the souls of Ukrainians in Donbass" and "supporting the Crimean Tatars". Mosiychuk believes that the Russian language can be banned "in Kiev, Lvov, Vasilkov, Kharkov," but not in Donbass.

    China slammed the recent US patrol, saying that it “undermines China’s sovereignty and security interests.” Beijing urged Washington to “correct this mistake” and refrain from further provocations that can undermine the “peace and security of the region” as well as bilateral cooperation between the US and China.

    Over the past 24 hours the Armed Forces of Ukraine committed fifty-five ceasefire violations, 40 of them were registered in the Donetsk direction. From the positions of the 72nd and 92nd separate brigades Ukraine’s military launched 31 projectiles of 152mm and 122mm caliber, made 52 shots with tanks and launched 380 mortar-shells, including 239 of 120mm caliber onto the areas of the localities of Krutaya Balka, Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka, Mineralnoye, Spartak, Dokuchayevsk, the airport area, the Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk City.

    The 65th humanitarian convoy of the Russian EMERCOM arrived in the capital of the Donetsk People's Republic. This was reported today in the press service of the rescue department of the DPR.


    "The humanitarian convoy of the Emergencies Ministry of the Russian Federation arrived in Donetsk. Unloading is carried out in two warehouses," the press service representative informs.



    The press service added that the convoy consists of 20 trucks. In total, they delivered 281 tons of baby food, medicines, and books. At the moment, unloading continues.
