    According to the latest information, as of 19:30 the units of the 72nd separate infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are conducting artillery fire at the Avdeyevka Coke-Chemical Plant and the area of the mine ‘Butovskaya’ from the direction of the Konstantinovka route. 


    As a result of the shelling, a hectare of the Avdeyevka Coke-Chemical Plant Territory is on fire. 



    This provocation is aimed at accusing the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), allegedly, of conducting fire from the vicinity of Krutaya Balka Locality.

    The employees of Ukrainian investigation bodies have arrested Deputy Head of the Party ‘Left Coalition’ Ivan Bondarchuk accusing him of a treason against the State. He participated in organizing a march of the Immortal Regiment in Vinnitsa, Party Head Vasily Volga stated this on Saturday. 


    “Yesterday Ivan Nikolayevich Bondarchuk was arrested – my Deputy, Head of the Vinnitsa regional organization ‘Left Coalition’, Member of Political Council. Seventy-three years old Ivan Nikolayevich was arrested due to a treason against the State,” wrote he on Facebook.

    According to her, the draft decision "On designation of the schools №10 and №34 as Ukrainian-language ones" has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

    "Everyone is always mainly guided by a principle of reciprocity here," he said, stressing that "no decision has been made so far."

    The situation in the responsibility zone of the LPR People's Militia underwent no essential changes and remains tense.


    Over the past day, the enemy committed seven violations of the ceasefire.


    Our units' positions near the localities of Smeloye, Logvinovo, Sanzharovka. Kalinovo and Kalinovka were shelled. When attacking, the AFU applied mortars of 120mm and 82mm calibre, anti-aircraft mounts ZU-23-2, IFV cannons, recoilless antitank guns, and small arms. In total, 178 projectiles and shells were launched onto the Republic's territory.

    Over the past 24 hours the Armed Forces of Ukraine committed 63 ceasefire violations.


    In the Donetsk direction, the enemy launched 79 artillery projectiles of 152mm and 122mm calibre, 385 mortar shells, including 273 of 120mm calibre, and 62 tank rounds onto the areas of the localities of Krutaya Balka, Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka, Zhabichevo, Spartak, Yelenovka, Yasnoye, Dokuchayevsk, the airport, the Kirovsky, Kievsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk.

    The convoy of the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Russian Federation, the 65th in a row, will deliver humanitarian aid to the Donetsk People's Republic on May 25. This was reported today in the press service of the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations.


    "On Thursday, May 25, 2017, the 65th humanitarian convoy with baby food and medical supplies from the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation arrives in the DPR" the report said.



    According to the department, the convoy will deliver a cargo with a total weight of 317 tons.
