The village of Yakovlevka in the south of Yasinovataya was left without electricity as a result of the morning shellings by Ukrainian military, reported the acting head of Yasinovataya's city council Oleg Morgun.
"This morning Ukrainian forces fired at the village of Yakovlevka about seven times, the shellings destroyed electric wires, and the entire locality was left without electricity," he said.
Morgun added that so far repair brigades couldn't start restoration works on elimination of the accident's circumstances because of the ongoing shellings of the village.
Earlier today it was reported that last night Kiev's troops had fired at the southern villages of the Republic and thus power supply to residents of the villages of Kominternovo, Zaichenko, Novaya Tavriya, Dzerzhinsk, Leninskoye and Sergeyevka was disrupted.
