United Donbass Fund pays out nearly 71mn rubles to people in need

The United Donbass Fund public organization paid out almost 71 million rubles of monetary assistance to the needy residents of the region during its work period, Fund Chairman Oleg Balykin states. 

“During the fund’s work-period, the commission considered 6,615 cases. From them - 2,638 totaling 85, 765, 440 rubles were approved. As of April 2nd, 2, 247 applicants were paid out the assistance totaling 70, 991, 640 rubles,” said Balykin. 

He added that over six sessions which took place in 2018 the fund’s commission considered 2,201 applications. From them - 1,139 totaling 42,023,700 rubles were approved. 

It should be noted that the fund began working in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on March 9, 2017. 

Assistance can be represented both in the form of monetary assistance and food products and medicaments including those collected by the residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
