The Ukrainian forces opened fire at the outskirts of the Yuzhnodonbass water conduit near Yasinovataya during the inspection of the OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor, Alexander Hug, reported a DPR representative to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire (JCCC).
"At about 2:30 pm, the AFU opened a demonstrative, frightening fire at the area of the first level pumping station of the Yuzhnodonbass water conduit. There were registered shell-hits in the filtering station," said the JCCC representative.
According to the source, the fire was launched with 120mm mortars. In addition, the enemy made an attempt to thwart the work of the OSCE's drone which had been launched in the same area.
"Using a radio signal, the AFU tried to intercept and take the drone to its territory. The attempt was failed," the source said.
Let's recall that at the moment the territory of the Yuzhnodonbass water conduit is being inspected by the OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug, Alexander Hug, accompanied by a group of the mission's observers. Yesterday, an OSCE drone came under the AFU fire during the observers' monitoring activity in the western suburbs of Donetsk.
