Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) opened fire on two villages near front-line Yasinovataya with heavy artillery in the afternoon, a source in power-wielding agencies of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) reports.
“At about 2 pm the AFU began shelling the villages of Yakovlevka and Mineralnoye. Fire was conducted with artillery of 122mm and 152mm caliber,” said the source.
According to him, the shelling is ongoing. Fire is conducted with mortars of 120mm caliber. There is no information about casualties and destruction.
It should be noted that the so-called 'harvest ceasefire' has come into force in Donbass since midnight of June 24.It was coordinated by Contact Group Participants in Minsk on June 21. It was expected that the 'ceasefire' would last until August 31.
However, Donetsk Command regularly registers ceasefire violations on the part of Ukraine's military.
