Ukraine sets up staff for quelling protests

Ukrainian authorities are preparing to overcome the probable objections and in this respect had set up a special staff on the basis of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

According to Ukrainian media, the Chief of Staff will be Oleksandr Turchynov, the head of the NSDC. Under his command there will be working the home secretary Arsen Avakov, the attorney general Yuri Lutsenko, the head of the General staff Victor Muzhenko, representatives of the security service and intelligence, as well as the people's deputy Sergey Pashinsky.

Increased tariffs for the heat are considered to be one of the most likely reasons for the start of protests in Ukraine. For this occasion an appropriate scenario was developed, reports Life.ru.

If such actions take place, the police will be ordered not to let transport with protesters in Kiev, and not to allow installing equipment and tents in the city. In turn, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital will have to seek injunction on mass actions.

At the same time the deputies from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc and People's Front will organize volunteer groups to assist law enforcement agencies. And the intelligence and security service will begin to disseminate information about the "Russian trace" in the planned protests.
