The Ukrainian budget loses about $15 - 20 billion due to the high shadowing of the economics.
It was stated by the executive director of the International Blazer Fund Oleg Ustenko when he was commenting on the recently published IMF technical report which calls into question the further crediting of Ukraine, reports The Politnavigator.
The IMF report clearly says that in Ukraine the shadow sector of economics is huge. For us, there is absolutely nothing new in it. We know that, even by the government’s estimation of last year, about 50 percent of the economics was in shadow. And when so much is in shadow at the total tax burden on the economics of about 50 percent, it means that you actually lose between $15 and 20 billion in the budget due to the enormous shadow that covers the Ukrainian economics.
