Over 20 thousand inhabitants of the Donetsk People's Republic gathered today in the center of Donetsk on the occasion of the second anniversary of the UN Security Council resolution's signing in support of the Minsk Agreements.
The meeting started with a moment of silence for the civilians who perished from the military aggression of Kiev in Donbass.
"The world heard us through meetings in Minsk, and they know the truth," Olga Makeyeva, the DPR People's Council Deputy Chairman turned to the audience. "Now they more often say that it is Ukraine to blame for dying civilians. They call for Ukraine to fulfill the Minsk agreements."
In the square where the rally is taking place there are five spots of the collection of signatures under the appeal to the leaders of the West and the Russian Federation to stop the Ukrainian aggression.
Before the rally started, mass procession was held in Donetsk.
