More than 1,700 families living near the contact line received assistance from the Public Headquarters for the front-line districts since December last year, the head of the public headquarters, the MP of the People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic Ekaterina Martyanova states.
"Since the beginning of the work of the Public Headqurters, more than 1,700 families in 38 settlements along the entire line of demarcation were rendered assistance," she said.
Thus, according to her, only about 27 tons of humanitarian supplies, medicines, clothes, household chemicals, children's toys and medical supplies were delivered to the front-line areas in February and March.
In addition, over the past month, 33 tons of coal were delivered to the residents of the frontline villages of Ozeryanovka near Gorlovka and Staromikhaylovka on the western outskirts of Donetsk.
