Participants of the plenary session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly voted for the resolution of the Ukrainian delegation on restoring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The Russian delegation voted against the resolution.
The document calls on Russia to revoke the decision to reunite with the Crimea and "withdraw the occupying forces" from the peninsula. According to the text, the OSCE PA "reiterates its condemnation of the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol by the Russian Federation and the continuing hybrid aggression of Russia against Ukraine in Donbass."
The authors warn members of the Parliamentary Assembly of any steps that can directly or indirectly contribute to the recognition of elections to the State Duma in the territory of the Crimea and Sevastopol. The resolution calls on Russia "to grant unhindered access to the Crimea and Sevastopol without delay" to international organizations, institutions, special procedures and independent experts of the OSCE, the UN and the Council of Europe, as well as any human rights NGOs or the media.
The document also requires Moscow to revoke the decision to recognize the passports of residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and stop "aggression in the Donbass." Russia is also "required to stop rendering any support to illegal armed formations in certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine."
