Mandate of OSCE Mission to Ukraine extended for another year

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine had its mandate extended until March 31, 2019, the press service of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna reported on Thursday.

"The mandate of the OSCE SMM was extended until March 31, 2019. The Ukrainian delegation stated that the SMM should have full and unhindered access to the entire territory of Ukraine... All EU states, the US and Canada supported [this idea]," the Ukrainian Permanent Mission's Office said in Twitter.

In March 2017, the OSCE Permanent Council extended the mandate of the mission to Ukraine for one year - until March 31, 2018.
