The Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE registered the shellings of the LPR People's Militia positions from the direction of the locality of Stanitsa Luganskaya controlled by the Ukrainian government. In the report on April 26, 2016, the representatives of the OSCE Mission noted that being on the territory of Ukraine they had counted 140 proceeding mortar shellings. Besides mortar shellings, near the locality of Stanitsa Luganskaya the officials of the OSCE registered the launching of rockets from the anti-tank operated missile systems, the direction of the shelling was to the south from the specified settlement, and also they heard bursts of large-caliber machine-guns fire.
At the same time, having inspected the craters from explosions near the checkpoint Stanitsa Luganskaya, the OSCE didn't confirm charge by Kiev of the Lugansk People's Republic in violation of the ceasefire regime, motivating this with the registered direction of the fragments separation and nature of the shells craters which indicate on shellings by the Kiev gunmen.
During the check of constant storage places of the AFU's withdrawn weapons, the OSCE noted the lack of 5 mortars of various calibers.
Outside the line of the military equipment withdrawal, the officials of the OSCE saw 18 towed howitzers of 152 mm caliber, 18 self-propelled howitzers of 122 mm caliber, 30 T-64 tanks.
