The LPR People's Militia dismissed Kiev's claims that Ukrainian troops made a 1.5 km advance from Krymskoye village in the direction of Zhelobok and Frunze villages, said the LPR People's Militia spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.
"Lately Ukrainian mass media have been spreading information on the Ukrainian armed forces' advance in the vicinities of Bakhmut highway, for 1.5km from Krymskoye village towards Zhelobok and Frunze villages, now allegedly within their firing range. At the same time the Ukrainian party insists it has not violated the Minsk Agreements, as these areas allegedly have already been under their control."
"I am officially saying that Ukrainian troops have been keeping their positions in this direction for a long time and have not made any advance," said Marochko.
"But shelling has intensified in the area. It shows that Ukrainian military are deliberately deteriorating the situation and escalating the conflict."
Earlier the LPR People's Militia dismissed Ukrainian reports on Kiev's forces advancement in the vicinities of Svetlodarsk salient.
