Since August 2017, the JCCC observation points,situated on the contact line in the DPR territory, underwent 23 cases of shelling, committed on the Ukrainian gunmen's part, reports the head of the DPR representative office in the JCCC, Ruslan Yakubov.
“Starting from August 2017 and till the present time, the JCCC observation groups on the contact line, deployed in the DPR territory, have undergone 23 cases of shelling. Herewith, no simultaneous shelling of the monitoring groups, deployed in the Ukrainian territory during the same period was detected,” said Yakubov.
He also added that the observation point in Bezimennoye was less shelled, namely it underwent only 18 cases of shelling. It was specified that there serve two-person teams from DPR, Russian and Ukrainian representatives.
“Yesterday's bombardment of the observational group’s dislocation in Bezymyennoye lasted about two hours and was conducted from the direction, "traditional" for Ukrainian gunmen, namely, Shirokino-Bezymynnoye direction. 49 mortar rounds of 82 mm caliber and 9 mortar rounds of 120 mm caliber were launched. The whole monitoring group spent an hour and a half in the bomb shelter," stressed Yakubov.
