The Command of the Donetsk People's Republic reported, that the contact line situation’s stabilization plan had been worked out. The document was approved by the OSCE and include the points on the immediate ceasefire all along the contact line and withdrawn of the weaponry prohibited by the Minsk Accords.
The document presupposes unhindered access for the OSCE special Monitoring Mission to the weaponry storages. Zones without weaponry and military units should be created in Yasinovataya and Avdeyevka. But the DPR Command underlines that Ukrainian side refused to discuss the plan.
As a result for the last 24 hours Ukrainian forces 775 times violated the ceasefire. Seven near front districts of the DPR were shelled with heavy artillery and mortars overnight.
"The shelling conducted by the Ukrainian side is ongoing. The enemy continue to fire the Republic settlements. For the last 24 hours we have recorded 775 times of the ceasefire violations. Among that number, the heavy artillery was applied 6 times, mortars of different types were applied 195 types, IFV 83 times, MRLS, grenades and small arms – 492 times," said Eduard Basurin, the DPR Operational Command Vice-Commander .
The enemy launched the fire onto the following localities: Dolomitnoye, Gorlovka, Shirikaya Balka, Zaitsevo, Mikhailovka, Ozorianovka, Yasinovataya, Yasnoe, Dokuchaevsk, Novomarievka, Novolaspa, Kominternovo, Oktyabr, Leninskoye, Spartak, and the Donetsk airport district.
"I would like the International society to pay attention to the fact of total reluctance of the OSCE Mission to do their work and Ukrainian unwillingness to follow the Minsk Agreements, Basurin said.
The casualties among the civilians and military units had not been reported. Although the DPR reconnaissance continue to record the fact of Ukrainian stepping up the army on the contact line. More than that, Ukrainian forces are planning the grand catastrophe.
"It was discovered that Ukrainian forces are preparing to undermine the Avdeevka’s Coal Chemical plant. In case of the explosion of the plant, the ecological and humanitarian catastrophe is to take place in Donbass. In other words, it would be the application of the chemical weapon against the population. It is the real well planned terrorist attack," Basurin said.
The DPR Command strongly disapproved the OSCE monitoring mission’s first deputy head Alexander Hug’s behaviour, who refused to be the intermediary in the negotiations and left the region’s territory.
"We don’t understand the position of the OSCE Mission first deputy Alexander Hug, as he refused to be the intermediary in the negotiations and completely ignored our initiative. Isn’t it the high time for the OSCE Mission Command to reconsider the attitude towards certain monitors, working in Ukraine, including the work of Alexander Hug. The special attention should be paid to the Hug’s biased actions and his unwilling to support the Donbass situation’s regulations," said the DPR Operational Command Vice-Commander.
