Four students of the Donetsk National Medical University named after M. Gorky are headed to the VI All-Russian Student Olympiad on Applied Medical Training "Golden MedSkill", which will be held today in Moscow. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Center of the Republic.
"With the assistance of the Russian Center, four students of the Donetsk National Medical University named after M. Gorky of fifth-sixth courses today will take part in the VI All-Russian Student Olympiad for Applied Medical Training "Golden MedSkill" in Moscow," the press service noted.
It is specified that the young medical staff is accompanied by department chair of anesthesiology, resuscitation and neonatology, Vice-rector for postgraduate education of the DonNMU Andrey Kolesnikov. During the Olympiad, participants compete in ten contests: video presentation of teams, nursing skills, emergency medical care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, obstetric-gynecological skills, interpretation of radiographs and others.
The programme of the event also includes master classes of leading experts in emergency medical care and skills of professional communication with patients. The delegation will return to the Donetsk People's Republic on April 4.
