In 2017, the DPR increased its exports twofold, stated DPR Minister of Economic Development Victoria Romanyuk.
"The positive result of 2017 was a double increase in exports. Given its apparent favourable dynamics, further growth in exports in 2018 depends on the Republic's ability to develop new markets. In other words, it is expected that non-primary exports will increase, the volumes of deliveries of goods of a higher processing level, especially technically and technologically complex products, will grow," Romanyuk pointed out.
According to the Minister, today the Republic has a chance to revise the export structure, make it multidirectional and increase the export of processed products. Victoria Romanyuk noted that the DPR has significant reserves of natural resources. At the same time, most of the existing production capacities are directed to their extraction and processing.
