Last week, in the formations and military units of the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People's Republic, control exercises were held with the command staff and tactical-combatant fire training with subunits.
The DPR Armed Forces together with the security agencies of the Republic continue conducting active measures to counter terrorism and combat enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine committed 34 ceasefire violations.
The enemy launched two projectiles of 122mm calibre, five tank rounds, 49 mortar shells of 120mm and 82mm calibre onto the Republic’s territory.
As a result of the AFU shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, two houses were damaged, in addition, Trudovskiye and Zhilploschadka were cut off power supply.
Also, this morning the Ukrainian forces committed another war crime against the civilian population. The Ukrainian fascists deliberately shelled a gas pipeline on Lugovsky street in the Petrovsky district with IFV cannons until it failed. Due to this crime, hundreds of families were cut off gas supply. At the moment, reconstruction works are under way.
The number of incidents of defiance and conflicts of exhausted Ukrainian soldiers with their command have increased in the ranks of the AFU units Armed Forces, located near the contact line. This is due to the fact that the promised rotation and withdrawal from the so-called 'ATO' zone is constantly postponed.
Another such an incident occurred last night. Soldiers of the 3rd battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade demanded from their commander to tell them the exact date of returning home to their families. Having received no intelligible answer, the soldiers returned to their deployment site and had a mass drunken brawl as a demonstrative act of disobedience.
One of the participants of this action took a machine gun and broke into the territory of the Donetsk filtering station. For an hour, he wandered around the station and intimidated its staff, at that firing into the air and trying to disable the equipment. Later, six more Ukrainian servicemen joined their comrade.
It was managed to stop this drunken coven only thanks to the intervention of the Russian representatives to the JCCC. After numerous appeals of the latter, the Ukrainian command, by prolonged persuasion, could return its servicemen to positions. We urge the OSCE mission to demand from the Ukrainian command to thoroughly investigate this blatant fact.
In total, over the past week, the enemy committed 294 ceasefire violations and targeted the Republic’s territory with 640 artillery projectiles, tank rounds, and mortar shells.
30 localities of the Republic were affected by the AFU fire, 13 residential buildings were damaged and destroyed in five of them.
The Petrovsky and Kirovsky districts of Donetsk, and the localities of Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk and Kominternovo suffered from the attacks most.
Due to the AFU shelling, two civilians were wounded, one defender of the Republic was killed, four were wounded.
I will note that the methods used by the AFU units to extinguish the population of the Republic are becoming more sophisticated. I have already reported that Ukrainian mortar men use 120mm flare mines as incendiary ammunition. In such a way, only over a few days, two private households in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and and Kominternovo locality were completely burnt by flare mines. However, setting fire to houses is not the ultimate goal. After civilians gather to extinguish the fire and a fire brigade arrives, the Ukrainian forces intensify the shelling, already with the use of 120mm mortar shells.
Also, over the past week, according to official reports, the OSCE SMM has detected the absence of heavy weapons in the AFU storage areas:
20 self-propelled howitzers Akatsiya;
12 self-propelled howitzers Gvozdika;
19 tanks T-34.
Last week, the most active actions were taken by units of the 72nd and 92nd separate mechanized AFU brigades under the command of war criminals Kokorev and Sokolov. The Petrovsky district of Donetsk and Yasinovataya area were regularly shelled from the standpoint of these brigades with all the available artillery systems, mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms.
The Ukrainian forces chose houses and infrastructure as main objects of the defeat. Thus, as a result of another shelling committed by the command of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade, the power supply of the Donetsk filtering station was disrupted and the water supply was temporarily stopped.
The carried out provocations were carefully planned by the command of the so-called 'ATO' on the eve of the arrival of the Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Mission Alexander Hug and the US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker.
Recently, not only the Republic's localities, but also representatives of the OSCE and the JCCC have come under the AFU shelling. At that, not only representatives of the Russian party, but also Ukrainian officers felt the ceasefire 'observance' by the AFU units when the JCCC observation post in Bezymennoye locality was shelled on July 25 from the 59th separate mechanized brigade's positions.
However, despite all the efforts of the so-called 'ATO' command to unleash a bloody massacre, it is worth noting that on certain parts of the contact line, there is a tendency to the situation's stabilization. This comes connected with the fact that the majority of the AFU soldiers and sergeants, who have signed the contract, intend to simply sit tight in the trenches until the next rotation, without exposing their lives to mortal danger. In the AFU ranks there is no desire to die for the interests of the oligarchic power.
In some of the AFU units even officers refuse to carry out the criminal orders of their commanders. Such a case, for example, occurred in the 28th separate mechanized brigade, where three officers sabotaged the order to fire at Dokuchayevsk, given by Lieutenant-Colonel Zaglinsky, battalion commander. Being in a state of strong alcoholic intoxication, Zaglinsky beat up mutinous subordinates.
The imaginary patriotism of the Ukrainian soldiers, forcibly driven into trenches, ends where one can earn several extra thousand hryvnia. Everything is passed to the grey market: small arms and ammunition, equipment and property. Once again, I want to thank the servicemen of one of the AFU units, who gave us expensive American drones for a certain fee. Ukrainian soldiers! We are waiting for new commercial offers. We are ready to consider them.
