Formations and units of the Donetsk People's Republic Armed Forces held combat trainings past week. In the course of training, personnel showed excellent and good results.
Over the past 24 hours, there were registered 35 occasions of ceasefire violations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy targeted the Republic's territory with four artillery projectiles of 152mm and 122mm calibres, 165 mortar shells of 120mm and 82mm calibres, and 17 tank rounds.
In total, over the past week the enemy committed 328 violations of the ceasefire regime and fired 2,840 rockets, artillery projectiles, tank rounds and mortar shells at the territory of the Republic.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine subjected 34 Republic's localities to shellings, 46 residential buildings sustained damages in 12 of them.
Along with that, power supply was disrupted in the localities of Donetsk-Severny, Kashtanovoye, Krasny Partizan, Kominternovo, Zaichenko, Novotavriya, and Dzerzhinsk.
The Petrovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Kievsky districts of Donetsk, and the localities of Krutaya Balka, Sakhanka, Alexandrovka and Kominternovo suffered from the attacks most.
Unfortunately, over the past week, there were registered casualties among the Republic's civilian population and the DPR military personnel. Two civilians were killed in the AFU shellings. In addition to that, two servicemen were killed and one was severely wounded when defending the Republic.
In total, over the past week, the OSCE SMM noted in its official reports the absence of the following heavy weapons in the AFU storage sites:
three rocket launcher systems BM-21 Grad;
eight D-20 howitzer of 152mm calibre;
three armored personnel carriers BTR-80;
six towed howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm);
three towed howitzers (D-30, 122mm);
six motorized howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm)
four towed mortars (PM-38, 120mm);
29 tanks (18 T-64 and 11 T-72).
On June 20, during the visit of the OSCE to Ukraine Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug to the Donetsk People's Republic and on the eve of another meeting of the security contact groups in Minsk, Ukrainian special services carried out a cynical provocation against international observers with involvement of the Republic's citizens, recruited by the SBU under the "Come Home" programme.
The day before the Minsk negotiations, the Security Services' recruits performed a provocation, shooting near the international observers' cars.
It is quite obvious that the DPR is not interested in aggravating relations with the OSCE, which contributes to the resolution of the armed conflict in Donbass. The only party that benefited from this situation was Ukraine.
The Ukrainian special services are taking every effort to intimidate the OSCE Mission's representatives and force them into leaving the territory of Donbass.
We categorically oppose such a development.
We will take all the possible measures to ensure the safe operation of OSCE monitors in the Republic's territory.
This week, the Ukrainian party made attempts to provoke our units into retaliatory actions by targeted bombardments of the Republican localities' residential areas. Despite this, the DPR Armed Forces did not respond to the provocations.
As a result of a thorough analysis of photographic materials on the Berdyanskoye locality's shelling, it was established that the enemy also shelled its own territories. Thus, in the photos of the 'ATO' headquarters' press center, there are craters caused by 82mm mortar shells' detonation, which, according to the AFU version, had allegedly been launched by the DPR Armed Forces' units.
However, all the DPR mortars are in withdrawal places, which is confirmed by the OSCE Mission's observers. In addition, the range of mortar fire does not provide for shells to reach Berdyanskoye locality from our positions. It is too far from the contact line.
On June 18, as an evidence of the shelling of Berdyanskoye, the 'ATO' headquarters presented photos that had been already shown on May 19, but from another angle.
When this falsification appeared for the first time, the Ukrainian party tried to conceal the fact of the Azov regiment's criminal negligence, who set their headquarters on fire due to excessive drinking overnight to May 19. In the second case, on June 18, it was meant to divert the Ukrainian and world public from the insane fighting between units of the 36th "retreating" marine brigade and fighters of the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps The Right Sector. The conflict between the Ukrainian personnel was due to the marines' unauthorized abandonment of a number of their positions in the Mariupol direction.
The facts of Ukrainian nationalists' sabotage and terrorist activities against Donbass inhabitants, aimed at strengthening the blockade of the region, were noted.
On June 19, in Sergeyevka village of the Pokrovsky district, a group of radical Ukrainian nationalists blasted the electrical substation feeding the locality and the railway station with power. Sacrificing their own population, the radicals sought to stop the railway communication on this branch line. Thus, they were willing to demonstrate to the Ukrainian authorities that they were not interested in restoring economic ties with the Republics, and, at that, were ready to resort to terrorist methods to support the Donbass blockade.
In addition, after the enemy shelling of Vasilyevka locality disrupted electric power lines in the area, the 1st level pumping station Yuzhnodonbassky water conduit passed to reserve power supplies' use. Currently, the station is being restored and operates in a regular mode.
