The situation in the Donetsk People's Republic remains tense.
Over the past day the Ukrainian punishers violated the ceasefire regime 710 times.
The enemy keeps using artillery for shelling the Republic's territory. In total there were launched 130 artillery projectiles of 122mm and 152mm calibre, and 500 shells of 82mm and 120mm calibre. Besides, the enemy opened fire from infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms.
The war criminals Gorbatyuk, Vodolazsky, Zabolotny, Zubanich, Panchenko and Delyatitsky continued shelling the Republic’s localities for the purpose of exterminating the civilian population. Over the past day there were shelled such localities as Zaitsevo, Yasinovataya, Spartak, Makeyevka, Staromikhaolovka, Aleksandrovka, Yelenovka, Sakhanka, Leninskoye, the Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk. 18 houses sustained damage. A civilian Kuzenkov Yu.V. was wounded in the locality of Zaitsevo.
In anticipation of September 1 the Ukrainian military continue shelling kindergartens and schools of the Republic’s localities. So, a kindergarten No.127 sustained heavy damage as a result of the shelling in the locality of Makeyevka.
Fortunately, there were wounded neither children, nor personnel. We address the OSCE Mission’s employees to record this crime and to influence the Ukrainian military command about inadmissibility of violation of the ceasefire regime.
We have registered movement of the AFU equipment forbidden by the Minsk Agreements near the contact line:
- Near Arkhangelskoye (19 km away from the contact line) there were detected four 122mm motorized howitzers ‘Gvozdika’;
- Near Yasnoye (2 km away from the contact line) there were detected eight 120mm mortars and three infantry fighting vehicles;
- Near Novogrigorovka (3 km away from the contact line) there were detected four 120mm mortars.
We would like to note that unfortunately, for a long time already the OSCE representatives have been more engaged in registering imaginary restriction of their freedom of movement, rather than objective investigations of cases of the ceasefire regime violation and application by the AFU of the types of arms forbidden by the Minsk Agreements.
We have already repeatedly stated refusal of the OSCE Mission’s patrols to record the shelling of the JCCC representatives from the Russian side which took place on August 24 near the railway station in Yasinovataya.
The OSCE SMM’s report published on August 25 says that "on August 24 at 11:26 a.m., being at the "observation point" at the railway station in Yasinovataya, the OSCE representatives "registered two explosions which the observers considered to have been the outgoing artillery shots in 200-400 meters to the South-East from their position." However, in this direction there are only railway lines and switchyard, and artillery systems cannot be stationed there to say nothing of conducting fire.
On the other hand – I can suggest that the patrol has misled its heads as from 7 in the morning till 13:35 there were neither explosions, no outgoing artillery shots, what is confirmed by the local residents and JCCC employees whom we interviewed and who record the ceasefire regime violation in the round-the-clock mode, and also come to the site of shellings for investigating each case in their zone of responsibility.
Thus, we can see scandalous facts of certain OSCE SMM employees’ incapacity of evaluation and recording the ceasefire violations and application by the AFU of the types of arms forbidden by the Minsk Agreements.
Indirect confirmation of the OSCE Mission’s inability to solve the problem of observance by the parties of the Minsk Agreements is a statement of Michael Botsyurkiv, the former press secretary of the special OSCE observation mission to Ukraine who proposed Ukraine "to let Donbass go", and asked whether "it was high time to start developing the alternative and acceptable decision?"
