The Ukrainian side continues to cynically and subtly violate the truce.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy heavily applied tanks, mortars and small arms. 11 localities’ areas and their suburbs were targeted with 16 tank rounds, 41 mortar shells of 120-mm calibre and 21 of 82-mm calibre.
In the Mariupol and Gorlovka directions, the enemy actively applied grenade launchers and small arms when attacking five localities and their suburbs.
As a result of shellings of Staromikhaylovka in the Kirov district of Donetsk by the Ukrainian forces, two civilians - Krasnik Alexander Vladimirovich, born in 1957, and Batuyeva Efimiya Artemovna, born in 1939, - were wounded.
In total, over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine committed 54 violations of the ceasefire.
The command of the so-called 'ATO' zone is concerned about the growing wave of discontent among subordinates performing tasks at the forefront. Ukrainian soldiers are outraged by the fact that their promised replacement is constantly postponed and is not planned in the near future. This is due to the lack of combat-ready units of the AFU in the permanent deployment points able to replace them in the so-called 'ATO' zone.
In particular, the 54 separate mechanised brigade, which was relatively recently moved to the Chuguyevsky proving ground in the Kharkov region, which was to replace the 92 separate mechanised brigade, is unable at the moment to carry out a combat mission for two reasons. First: a large deficiency of personnel and military equipment. Second: up to 50% of soldiers and officers of the 54 brigade flatly refuse to return to the war zone.
The Ukrainian command plugs the emerging holes in their defense with various 'cannon fodder'. For example, in the Mariinka area, an irregular bandit formation of radical nationalists arrived at the responsibility zone of the demoralized 92 separate mechanised brigade.
We are armed with information about the arrival of foreign instructors and explosives specialists in a number of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Mariupol direction. Under the guidance of these instructors, it is planned to conduct ten-day classes with sabotage groups consisting of Ukrainian servicemen, on preparing and laying down explosive devices, as well as carrying out terrorist attacks and sabotage.
