Over the past day, there were registered 47 occasions of ceasefire violations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Republic’s territory was shelled with artillery, mortars, grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicles, armoured personnel carriers, and small arms.
In the Gorlovka direction there were registered 10 violations of ceasefire on the part of the 53rd separate mechanized and 25th separate airborne AFU brigades, from the positions of which there were launched three artillery projectiles of 122mm calibre and 430 munitions from various types of grenade launchers onto the areas of the localities of Zaitsevo, Gorlovka, Verkhnetoretskoye, and Zheleznaya Balka.
In the Donetsk direction there were registered 20 ceasefire violations. War criminals from the 46th separate air assault brigade, 72nd and 92nd separate mechanized brigades launched 150 mortar shells of various calibre, 530 munitions from portable and automatic grenade launchers, and actively applied small arms against the areas of the localities of Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka, Krutaya Balka, Vasilievka, Spartak, the airport, and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk.
In the Mariupol direction there were registered 17 ceasefire violations. Ukrainian punishers from the 36th separate marine brigade shelled the areas of Oktyabr, Sakhanka, Leninsky, Zaichenko and Kominternovo localities. Mortar detachments launched 18 mortar shells of 120mm calibre onto the Republic’s territory. In addition, the enemy applied IFV weapons, various types of grenade launchers and small arms.
12 buildings sustained damages as a result of the AFU shellings, including: five residential buildings in Zaitsevo locality, one in Yakovlevka locality, as well as five houses and school № 103 in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. At that, two civilians were wounded in a mortar shelling of Yakovlevka locality and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk by Ukrainian punishers: Derkach Alexander Nikolayevich, born in 1965; and Lopatyuk Svetlana, born in 1980. Also, Sukhov Igor Anatolievich, born in 1972, received burns when extinguishing fire in a burning residential house in Yakovlevka locality, caused by the AFU shelling.
According to our reconnaissance, along the entire contact line there is detected the arrival of the National Guard detachments at the AFU units and forces’ deployment sites with a view to maintain discipline in the AFU, or rather, assist commanders in the execution of their orders. This is due to a drop in morale and patriotic sentiment among servicemen on the front line. Soldiers of the AFU openly disobey commanders, express their desire to "fraternize" with the enemy, up to siding with the Republic. In addition, soldiers believe that in this war they defend the interests of non-Ukrainians, and politicians, who sell the country in pieces.
The signs of the so-called ‘dissent’ in the AFU ranks became especially noticeable on the days when everyone honours the memory of those who had died for the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The military and political authorities of Ukraine are once again trying to restore order in its army, planting additional ‘neo-Nazi controllers’ in units and divisions.
Also, earlier we have repeatedly reported about the preparation of theatrical productions by the Ukrainian party for journalists of foreign media, accusing us of shelling civilians on their side. Today there took place another example of this: in the temporarily Ukraine-occupied part of Zaitsevo locality unidentified persons in military uniform have committed arsons of several civil houses. Staged explosions were held near these houses for the sake of theatricality. In addition, media representatives’ activity was detected near this locality.
We associate the expansion of Ukrainian military ‘theatrical companies’ for media to the meeting of the President of the Russian Federation and the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany A. Merkel in Sochi, where the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donbass is to be discussed.
