Donetsk Defense: Situation Report, 01/10/2018

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted Dokuchayevsk with ten 120-mm mortar shells, as well as Sosnovskoe with 22 120 and 82-mm mortar ordnances. Also, weapons of IFV and small arms were applied against the settlements of Spartak and Dolomitnoye.

According to our reconnaissance, the enemy disperses air defense assets in areas of military use. Officially, this is done to ensure the protection of airspace over the storage of RAW, fuel and command posts, performing combat missions in the so-called 'ATO' zone.

However, at the time of the American unmanned vehicle "Global Hawk" carrying out reconnaissance flight over the contact line, in the area of responsibility of the 30 separate mechanised brigade, in the vicinity of Krasnoye settlement, four AFU ADMS "Buk-M1" conducted a comprehensive training to find, detect, capture and maintain this air target, as well as its training attack.

We do not exclude the possibility that a full-scale provocation is being prepared in Ukraine, during which "Global Hawk" will be shot down, and all accusations will be shifted again to our Republic. Thus, all the events of 2014 are repeating, when the Boeing of Malaysian airlines was shot down. Only now the main goal is to draw NATO and the United States into this conflict.

I want to warn in advance that in the Donetsk People's Republic, neither in 2014, nor now, there are no systems that allow shooting down aircraft at high altitudes.

And all the insinuations on this matter are groundless.
