Civilian wounded, two houses burned down in Donetsk after allnight shellings

A civilian got wounded, two detached houses burned down and two more sustained damage in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk this night. The District Administration and the DPR security agencies reported such results of the bombardments carried out by the Ukrainian Ukrainian military.

"In the evening, at 22:40, a resident of the Petrovsky district was wounded by sniper fire. He was taken to hospital No. 14 with a minor injury of the temporal region," said the head of the Petrovsky district administration Maxim Zhukovsky.

He specified that the sniper had been watching the windows of houses and opened fire at the local residents when they appeared in his sight.

According to Zhukovsky, at night the district came under mortar fire as well, two houses were damaged on Chekhov and Chernogorskaya streets. The source in the DPR security agencies added that two more houses had burned down in the near-front locality of Aleksandrovka which belongs to the Petrovsky district administratively. 

"Aleksandrovka was hit from 120mm mortars, and the tank fire was added in the morning," he said.

Earlier this day the source in the DPR security agencies reported that the Ukrainian military had launched over 180 artillery projectiles and shells onto the near-front cities and destricts of the Republic last night.
