Canadians to create banned Vkontakte analogue for 'conscious' Ukrainians

A team of 30 programmers from the Canadian IT StartupSoft company declared the desire to create a Ukrainian-language social network UKRAINIANS instead of the banned Russian VKontakte. This was reported on the official page of the social network.

"Alexandra Strumchinskaya and a group of 30  StartupSoft programmers are ready to develop a Ukrainian social network for three platforms: web, iOS and Android," said the report.

Now, developers are collecting signatures to make sure of the need for such a social network.

"If by June 1 the number of subscribers reaches 50,000+, StartupSoft will develop the product within 4 months," says the Ukrainians report.
