JCCC reports civilian casualties' number over 'school' truce
Six civilians perished and 30 were wounded in the Donetsk People's Republic in 120 days of the "school" ceasefire, the DPR Representative Office to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire reported on Monday.
"For 120 days of the 'school' armistice, the Ukrainian Armed Forces committed 4,049 violations of the ceasefire regime, six civilians were killed, 30 wounded, 293 houses were damaged," a DPR representative to the JCCC said.
The "school" truce in Donbass was announced starting from August 25. However, violations of the ceasefire and the use of heavy weapons continued. At the last meeting this year, the contact group for the settlement of the conflict in Donbass agreed on the ceasefire regime for the New Year and Christmas holidays coming into effect from December 23.
