Volkova replaces Pushilin as “Donetsk Republic” Central executive Committee’s head

The People’s Council head, Denis Pushilin left the “Donetsk Republic” Central executive Committee’s head office, reports the DPR Head, Alexander Zakharchenko.

“Denis Pushilin was taking active part in the life of the “Donetsk Republic” movement’s Central executive Committee and we are very grateful to him. But now he is engaged in more serious and important work, namely in the work of the People’s Council, which requires a lot of effort, and participation in the Minsk negotiations. This is the work that will hopefully allow us to resolve our conflict with Ukraine through the diplomacy,” said Zakharchenko.

The CEO of the "Donetsk State Academic Music and Drama Theater" state enterprise, Natalia Volkova, became Pushilin’s successor as the head of the Central Executive Committee

Zakharchenko also stressed that Pushilin will have to lead another important direction for the Republic - the integration of Donbass with the Russian Federation. "Here we need a real breakthrough. This is the most important direction, and Denis Vladimirovich is in charge of it,” said Zakharchenko.
