The United Donbass Fund public organization keeps providing assistance to people who find themselves in a difficult life situation. At this time, the payment was received by a resident of the Donetsk region part which is temporarily controlled by Ukraine. Vitaly Pechenkin had lived with his wife in Maryinka before the military hostilities began.
"At the first, I ran out wearing everything I could, even slide sandals. I did not even think of the IDs. We ran forward, hiding in basements," Anna recollected the first shelling.
At that moment, the woman was 8 months pregnant. The neighbors helped to go to the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
"I thought I was leaving for a week, for a month. And in the end, three years already passed, "said Anna.
The family can't go back home i.e., their home is partially destroyed. In March of this year Vitaly's both legs were injured and he received a compression fracture of the spine. We need money for treatment. Therefore, we decided to apply to the United Donbass Fund.
"We were told by neighbors from Maryinka that there was such a fund. We collected documents, wrote a statement and a questionnaire. To be honest, we did not expect that we would be helped. Thank you very much," added the woman.
The fund ordered to pay out 50 thousand rubles. This money is necessary for further treatment of Vitaly.
All Donbass residents can apply to the fund - both citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic, and residents of the Donetsk region part which is temporarily controlled by Ukraine, who are in a difficult life situation.
