United Donbass Fund pays out nearly 60mn rubles to people in need

The United Donbass Fund public organization has paid out monetary assistance totaling nearly 60 million rubles to people in need during its work period, Fund Chairman Oleg Balykin states.

“The commission of the fund considered 6,063 cases. From them, 2, 403 ones totaling 76, 459, 440 rubles were approved. As of March 19, 1,939 applicants were paid out 59, 136, 740 rubles,” pointed out Balykin.

He added that in 2018 five sessions of the fund's commission had taken place where appeals of the citizens having difficult life situations had been considered.

Over the period, 1746 applications were considered, 904 ones were approved.

It should be noted that United Donbass Fund began its work in the Donetsk People's Republic on March 9, 2017 in the frames of realization of the Donbass people reunification and assistance to fellow countrymen program which was adopted by the DPR and LPR Heads.

Assistance is rendered both by means of monetary payment and of products, medical supplies, including those from the residents of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
