The World Food Program (WFP) of the United Nations will stop providing assistance to the conflict-affected regions of the Donbass in March, a representative of the organization reported.
"This is not the biggest surprise: our funding level has recently fallen dramatically, we definitely expected this because of a lack of resources," the source said.
According to him, the programme will end in late February.
"This operation to provide food actually had to stop at the end of December, but we decided to extend it for two months for people to survive the harshest part of the winter. We could not extend it further because of a lack of funds," the WFP representative said.
