Savings of Ukrainians in the second quarter of this year decreased by 27.6 billion UAH. This is reported by "Correspondent" with reference to the State Service of Statistics.
As noted in the latest statistics, incomes of Ukrainians amounted to 559.9 billion UAH, whileexpenditures - 587.5 billion UAH. At the same time, disposable income, which can be used to purchase goods and pay for services, increased by 15.8%. However, the population's expenditures in the second quarter of 2017 as compared to the same period of the previous year increased by 24%.
At that the real disposable income of the population, determined with regard to the price factor, increased by 1.7% in the second quarter compared to the same period in 2016.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade published a forecast that in 2017 Ukraine's GDP growth is expected at 1.8% with inflation of 12.2%
In 2019, experts expect GDP to increase by 3.6% with inflation of 5.9% and in 2020 - 4% with inflation of 5%.
The Economic Development Ministry recalled that four months ago, the economic recovery estimates for the current year were as follows:1.9% with inflation of 10.5%, whereas in 2018 experts expected the same 3% growth, but with inflation of 7%.
