Ukrainian troops hold joint trainings with U.S. Navy ship

Ukrainian military held joint trainings with the U.S. war ship at the Black sea, Ukraine's Armed Forces' Navy, command center, press-service reports.  

“The Ukrainian armed forces' navy's marine aviation held the joint PASSEX trainings with the USS Carney (DDG 64) of the U.S. navy at the Black Sea. The aim of the event was to drill cooperation according to the NATO standards, to improve the level of intercompatibility,” says a statement.

It's reported that Ka-27 helicopters of Ukrainian Navy landed at American ship's board in poor weather conditions over ten times, carried out intelligence and observed the situation at sea.

According to the Press-Center, the ship of U.S. Navy docked Odessa harbor where it was until January 11.
