The situation in the DPR, despite the decrease in the number of shellings, still remains tense, the DPR Operational Command Vice-Commander Eduard Basurin states.
“The situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), despite the decrease in the number of shellings conducted by Ukrainian military with artillery, remains tense. 13 localities came under AFU fire. While shelling these localities, the enemy used artillery of 152mm and 122mm caliber, tanks, mortars of 120mm and 82mm caliber and also IFVs, anti-aircraft installations, grenade launchers and small arms,” pointed out Eduard Basurin.
The Vice-Commander underlined that the enemy had intensively shelled the Donetsk direction. Yasinovataya and the locality of Yakovlevka, the north suburbs of Donetsk – the village of Spartak, the territory of the former airport and the Petrovsky district of the capital were under AFU fire. In particular, two residential houses were damaged in the Petrovsky district.
