Ukrainian Journalist: ‘Decline in Ukraine’s population – only way out of crisis’

One of Ukraine's way outs of the crisis is decline in the population of the country, Kiev Journalist Dmitry Gordon supporting the Maidan stated this on the air of the 112 TV Channel on August 11.

According to him, not more than 35 million people live in Ukraine now.

Besides, outflow of Ukrainian citizens to abroad keeps taking place.

“One must eat less and you know, there must be less Ukrainians according to such goals so that the state will pay out less pension benefits. The main problem of Ukraine is that its citizens go abroad to live. Population census isn’t carried out even if it’s carried out, I guess that it will be not accurate. According to specialists, the population of Ukraine is maximum 30-35 million people,” pointed out Gordon.
