Ukrainian forces commit five violations of ‘absolute truce’ over day

The Armed Forces of Ukraine committed five ceasefire violations over the past 24 hours, reported the Operational Command of the Donetsk People's Republic.

"Over the past day, there were registered five violations of the ceasefire regime by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Mortars of 120-mm and 82-mm calibres, grenade launchers and small arms were applied," the Command said.

It is noted that fire from the Ukrainian troops’ positions was engaged against the areas of five settlements of the Republic. In particular, the villages of Krutaya Balka near Yasinovataya and Zaitsevo in the north of Gorlovka, the villages of Sakhanka, Leninskoye and Dzerzhinskoye in the DPR south fell under fire.

Information on casualties and destructions is being specified.

Let us recall that an agreement on the observance of a full, comprehensive, indefinite ceasefire entered into force on March 5. The agreement was reached by the participants of the negotiation process in Minsk on March 2.
