Ukrainian bombardment causes fire in Yakovlevka village, DPR

A fire broke out in the Donetsk People's Republic yesterday (in the village of Yakovlevka in the Yasinovataya suburb) due to shelling by the Ukrainian forces, the DPR Emergency Situations Ministry reports.

Earlier, the contact group for the situation settlement in Donbas agreed on a new armistice in the region coming into effect on August 25 midnight. This has been the fifth attempt to cease bombardments since the beginning of the year.

"On September 13, a fire broke out in the village of Yakovlevka (DPR). The roofing and the ceiling were destroyed at a 100 square meters’ area as a result of the fire," the press service of the Emergency Ministry said.
