Ukrainian army fires over 60 heavy ammos at DPR, howitzers detected near Gorlovka

The army of Ukraine over the past 24 hours fired over 60 heavy ordnances at the frontline zones of the Donetsk People's Republic. This was announced today by the Vice-Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin.

"In the Donetsk direction, the enemy fired 18 mortar shells of 82-mm calibre. In the Mariupol - 13 rounds of 120-mm calibre and 30 of 82-mm," Basurin said.

According to him, AFU fire also hit the northern edge of Gorlovka. There the shelling was conducted from the arms of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms.

Also, the DPR reconnaissance reported the Ukrainian military deploying the towed howitzers Giatsint to Gorlovka, as well as 10 trucks of ammunition for them, the Vice-Commander reported.

"According to our reconnaissance, the AFU continue to draw in forces and facilities to the contact line. In order to strengthen the 53 brigade in the Artyomovsk area, the arrival of 15 towed 152-mm howitzers Giatsint, 10 trucks with ammunition for them and 50 people was noted," Basurin said.
