Ukraine is expected to collapse in case of an offensive on Donbass, since the West will not provide powerful support. This was stated by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Konstantin Grishchenko, on the air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels. Moreover, the offensive on Donbass is not supported by the West in the face of NATO.
Grishchenko explained that Ukraine is not Kosovo or Croatia.
"You can talk as much as you like about an operation like the Croatian one, but there are no conditions for it. We do not have to rely on fast and powerful support (of the West - ed.)," said the former Foreign Minister of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian diplomat explained that such shady undertakings that Kiev intends to conduct sometimes lead to the loss of statehood.
“If Kiev sends troops the territory of the republics, then the country may lose its statehood,” Grishchenko believes.
"NATO will not save Kiev if Russia defends Donbass from the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Russian Federation will not allow the return of the DPR and the LPR to the control of Ukraine, since it supports the right of Donbass to special status and protection of local residents,” he said.
