Ukraine should replace not its representatives in Minsk but governors in Kiev – Plotnitsky

Ukraine should replace not the country’s representatives at the negotiations, participants of the Contact Group in Minsk but a leadership in Kiev, the head of the Lugansk People’s Republic Igor Plotnitsky stated at the press-conference in Lugansk.

In such a way, he commented on the statement of the Verkhovna Rada’s MP Nadezhda Savchenko who had proposed to replace the Minsk negotiators (from Ukraine), who got tired for 3 years because of fruitless work, by new ones, more qualified who will yield results.

“It seems to me that it is necessary to replace not the Minsk representatives, but the Kiev governors,” said Plotnitsky, highlighting that the “main brake” of the Minsk agreements is in Kiev.

“I was present at meetings in Minsk and I can say how the main part of negotiations took place and how they take place now, according to what our representatives in Minsk say to me. When negotiations take place, everybody solves a problem at the table, can dispute but eventually finds the solution everybody agrees with. A break is announced, the same happened to us, Aleksandr Vladimirovich Zakharchenko can confirm it, then during breaks Ukraine, the Ukrainian representatives get in touch with Kiev and after 5-minutes break, all the solution either is annulled or just they run away and do not come to the meeting,” the LPR Head said.
