Ukraine precariously accuses DPR of shelling of humanitarian mission

The statements of the Ukrainian forces about the bombardment by the DPR forces  of Zaitsevo during the delivery of the humanitarian aid of the Red Cross are not true. This was announced yesterday in the Operational Command of the DPR.

"Yesterday, the media controlled by the Kiev authorities carried out another stovepiping, citing the press service of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade of the AFU. They accused the DPR of the alleged shelling of Zaitsevo during the delivery of humanitarian aid by the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross," said Basurin. "This is another lie, aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of the DPR. "

The Vice-Commander stressed that the DPR did not open fire, observers of the JCCC did not record violations of the ceasefire in the area.

According to the representative of the international mission, there were no gunfire during the delivery of humanitarian aid.

"Surprisingly, we were there, we did not observe any shellings, we were extremely surprised by these statements," the spokesman said.

According to Basurin, the issuance of distribution of the aid to the population of Zaitsevo took place in the presence of Russian representatives at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire regime.

Meanwhile, the command of the DPR was also informed that yesterday around 14:00 the AFU struck at the village of Golmovsky in the north of Gorlovka. The fire was conducted from the positions of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade. There are no casualties as a result of the shelling.

Earlier yesterday, the press service of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that the units of the DPR allegedly fired at the village of Zaitsevo during the day, where representatives of the Red Cross provided humanitarian aid.
