Trump reduces 'security aid' to Ukraine, only $25Mln in July

US President Donald Trump's budget proposal for 2018 is projected to reduce aid to Ukraine from $667 million in 2016 to $203 million, the US Department of State said in the Congressional Budget Justification on Foreign Assistance released in May, reports Sputnik.

"$25 mil in US Security Assistance to #Ukraine this month, including #HarrisRadios for secure communications," a statement on the embassy's official Twitter account read.

Ukraine has been conducting a military operation against the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics since April 2014, after local residents refused to recognize the new government in Kiev.
