The Ukrainian forces carried out a bombardment of the Petrovsky district in the west of Donetsk last night, causing damages to three houses and a gas pipeline, reported the Petrovsky district administration head Maxim Zhukovsky.
"After 10:00 pm our district came under fire from the Ukrainian positions. The volleys were could be heard throughout the night. As a result, two houses on Zelyony Gai and Lugovsky Streets were damaged by direct hits. Three glasses were knocked out by the blast wave in a house on Chekhov Street," he said.
The head of the district added that a gas pipeline valve had also been damaged by a shrapnel on Chekhov Street. At the moment, the repair team is working on repairing the damage.
Information on the situation in the city continues being clarified. According to recent reports, there were registered neither dead nor wounded.
