According to the press service of the DPR Ombudsman, on July 7, a 36-year-old defender of the Republic received a mine-blast wound in the hostilities in the Yasinovataya area near the Donetsk filtering station.
On July 8, as a result of armed provocations by the Ukrainian forces in the area of Dokuchayevsk, a Republic’s soldier received an open shelled fracture of his right thigh.
As a result of artillery shelling in the Gorlovka area, a 46-year-old civilian received a brain concussion.
On July 10, as a result of the bombardment of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk by the Ukrainian armed forces, a civilian woman was wounded in the head; another civilian received shrapnel wounds of the chest and right shoulder.
On July 11, a serviceman of the Republic received a mine-blast wound and a fragment wound of the chest due to military operations near the village of Bezymennoye in the Novoazovsky district.
On July 13, as a result of armed provocations by the Ukrainian forces in the area of the Avdeyevska industrial zone, a serviceman of the Republic received a mine-blast wound and a fragment wound of the infraorbital region of the left eye.
Also, information was obtained on the servicemen who had previously received a blind fragment wound of a knee joint as a result of the fighting on July 4 near the village of Sakhanka of the Novoazovsky district.
In total, from July 7 to July 13, seven people were wounded due to incessant artillery shelling on the part of Ukraine, including two civilian men, one civilian woman and four servicemen of the Republic. Over this period, three people perished, including two servicemen of the Republic and one civilian man.
From January 1 to July 13, 2017, 421 people received wounds of varying severity in the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic, among them 248 servicemen of the Republic and 173 civilians, including nine children under the age of 18. 178 people were killed, including 156 servicemen of the Republic and 22 civilians, including a child.
Let's clarify that 4,467 people have perished in the Donetsk People's Republic since the beginning of the armed conflict, among them 604 women and 3,863 men, including 75 children under 18 years old.
