Russian humanitarian convoy arrives in Donetsk on February 21

The 60th Russian humanitarian convoy delivers more than 200 tons of baby food, living essentials and the targeted cargo for the Donetsk Academic Puppet Theater to the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on February 21, the press-office of the Republic’s life-saving department reported on Friday.

“The 60th humanitarian convoy from the Russian Federation arrives in the Donetsk People’s Republic on February 21, 2017. According to preliminary data, the total weight of the cargo will amount to 204 tons. It will comprise 197 tons of baby food packages, seven tons of living essentials. The convoy will also include a targeted cargo for the Donetsk Academic Puppet Theater,” highlighted the representative of the department.

According to the DPR Emergencies Ministry, the column will consist of eleven vehicles. Unloading takes place at a warehouse in Donetsk. It’s worth underlining that this convoy will be the first one in 2017.

It should be added that the last time when the Russian Federation Emergencies Ministry delivered humanitarian aid to the Republic was on December 22, 2016. At that moment rescue workers brought over 250 tons of baby food, New Year’s gifts and medical supplies.
