Russia is going to assume defence measures prescribed by international law, in connection with the Ukrainian lawsuit on transition limitation through the Russian territory, reports Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
On 9th February Ukraine had sent to the World Trading Organisation the demand on the arbiter's panel formation to limit the transit through the Russian territory to other countries.
“There are some measures for Russian interests' protection, provided by the international law that will be applied in this case as well as in the others similar to it,” said Peskov.
“No eventual thoughts are needed in this case,” added Peskov, answering the question about the possible consequences for Russia, caused by the Ukrainian WTO lawsuit on the transit limitations through the Russian territory.
