A poll conducted by an independent Levada Center specialising on sociological researches displayed the historically low number of Russians being out for emigrating abroad.
Results provided by Levada ground on the polling conducted a month ago among 800 people from 46 Russian regions. It came up evident that only 6% of Russians would like ‘by far’ to emigrate abroad, another 5% respondents would 'presumably' change the country of residence.
These figures speak in favour of the brand-new public sentiment contrasting to the Center's polling of 2011, when as much as 18% of Russians expressed the desire to rather 'definitely' or 'probably' immigrate and 51% were against leaving the country (compare with the entire 61% in 2015).
