Supporters of former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili held a rally for the adoption of the law on impeachment on December 10, the RIA News reports.
The protesters marched from Taras Shevchenko Park towards Independence Square where the stage was set.
Before this, all Saakashvili's supporters had held their actions near the Verkhovna Rada.
A lot of people came to the march: while the rally began on the square, the tail of the column only reached the middle of Khreshchatik.
The representatives of Saakashvili's party Movement of the New Forces and the Verkhovna Rada MPs who supported the protest, as well as the wife of the politician were on the stage.
Saakashvili had been detained in the criminal case on assisting participants of criminal organizations and concealing their activities.
However, supporters beat him off from law enforcement officers, and then went to the center of Kiev to demand impeachment of Ukraine's president Pyotr Poroshenko.
