Over 700 people in need get monetary assistance from United Donbass Fund

The employees of the United Donbass Fund paid out one-time monetary assistance to 707 residents in need of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and of the Kiev-controlled part of the Donetsk region since March, 2017, Fund Chairman Oleg Balykin states. 

“Altogether, as of October 18, 707 payments in the amount of 20, 949, 840 rubles were made, from them 349 applicants from the Kiev-controlled part of the Donetsk region received 10, 764, 045 rubles,” pointed out Balykin. 

He added that the next, already 13th session would take place on October 20. The Commission of the Fund is going to examine more than 200 applications. 

Besides, the United Donbass Funn began its work in the Donetsk People's Republic on March 9, 2017 in the frames of realization of the Donbass people reunification and assistance to fellow countrymen program which was adopted by the DPR and LPR Heads. 

Assistance is rendered both by means of monetary payment and of products, medical supplies, including those from the residents of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). 

Nine categories have a right to be provided with assistance. 

Physically-challenged people, single mothers and fathers with under-age children, families with three and more under-age children, citizens from 65 years old and others are among them.
