Over 60 employees of Zasyadko mine receive food packages

Employees of the Donetsk mine named after Zasyadko which went into receivership in March have received food packages from the Donetsk Republic public movement. Distribution has taken place on the territory of the coal producer.

“The mine is going through a hard time and it’s conditioned by many factors. However, the employees of the enterprise, at a troubled time, were not afraid of supporting the Donetsk People’s Republic and our public movement therefore the special headquarters made a decision on handing over humanitarian aid to the families of the enterprise’s employees who are members of our movement. Such events instill confidence,” said Secretary of the Donetsk Republic public movement department in the Kieyevsky district of Donetsk Gennady Mishko.

Today, 64 employees received the food packages. The total weight is about 16kg. It comprises grits, preserves, oil, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, cookies, candies, tea, coffee and other products.

It should be noted that as of today, 96 employees of the Zasyadko mine are members of the Donetsk Republic public movement.

It should be noted that on February 27, the Heads of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Lugansk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky demanded from Kiev to stop the Donbass blockade before March 1st.

Due to non-implementation of the demands by the Ukrainian leadership, 43 enterprises of the Ukrainian jurisdiction, including the Donetsk mine named after Zasyadko went into receivership.
